Stake review

Short verdict

Who this casino may suit

Stake puts a wide casino directory, in-house games, live products and a broad sportsbook alongside direct crypto funding. The range is broad. The account rules still deserve close attention. Every deposit has a 1x turnover requirement before withdrawal, KYC and source-of-funds checks can be extensive, and wallet costs vary by route. Game access also changes by region, while most reward values are personalised. The published catalogue and audience figures use different counting methods, so they cannot be rolled into one headline total.

This answer applies to the dated record below, not every country, account or cashier state. Check current operator terms and the value shown in your account before registering or sending funds. Read the evidence-state method if a field is source-limited, conflicting or unknown.

Record scope

This review uses public legal, product, payment, promotion and support information checked through 2026-07-26. One signed-in wallet route was viewed on 2026-07-17. The observer's region was not captured, and no transaction, wager or support request was submitted.

Before sending money: check the payment route and check country restrictions.

If something changes: use the correction instructions. For limits, breaks and self-exclusion, read the responsible gambling guide.

What to check before signing up

  • Make sure both your country of residence and your current physical location are permitted. The chosen provider or payment service may apply a narrower restriction.
  • Check the asset, network, minimum, fee and confirmation requirements in the wallet just before transferring funds.
  • Be prepared for identity, address, payment-ownership and source-of-funds checks at registration or later. Stake may ask for them before a withdrawal or promotion payment.
  • Allow for the 1x turnover on every deposit before withdrawal. This is separate from any promotion-specific requirement.
  • Read the rules for the exact campaign. Contribution rates, excluded games, expiry, maximum bet and maximum cashout vary because there is no universal welcome package.
  • Turn on two-factor authentication, then recheck the destination address and blockchain network before confirming a withdrawal.
  • Set deposit, loss or wager limits you can afford before playing. Take a break or use self-exclusion if gambling becomes hard to manage.

Country availability and regional limits

Stake's published terms list 44 prohibited countries, territories or regions. The restriction applies to residents and to anyone physically located in one of those places. Sanctioned people and entities are also excluded.

The checked material did not include a complete list of supported countries. Providers and payment processors can set tighter limits, so being able to open the site does not mean a particular game, deposit route or sportsbook market is available to you. Using a VPN or proxy to get around geoblocking breaks the terms.

  • A provider may appear in the directory but still be unavailable in your region.
  • An available language does not prove that Stake is legal or licensed in the country where that language is spoken.
  • Regional Stake products may have different operators, permissions or product models.

Account registration, KYC and AML

Stake can request verification during registration or at any later stage. It may restrict gambling, deposits and withdrawals until the identity and location checks are complete. The payment account or wallet must also belong to the Stake account holder.

The checks can cover legal name, age, identity documents, home address, payment ownership, profession, source of funds, source of wealth, sanctions screening, transactions, blockchain activity, devices and location signals. Stake may ask for more information before a withdrawal, a promotion prize or the recovery of funds from a closed or excluded account.

  • You cannot sell, transfer or share an account.
  • Duplicate accounts, automated registration, sanctions evasion and location manipulation are prohibited.
  • Stake may suspend or close an account if funds were deposited without a genuine intention to wager.

Payments, currencies and blockchain networks

Stake's public crypto guide names 21 assets, but that is not a live list of every network, minimum or withdrawal route. In the wallet, you choose an asset and then a network. Sending funds over an unsupported network can make recovery impossible.

Stake also names 25 local deposit markets or currencies and 25 currencies for displaying an account balance. A display currency is only a conversion unit inside the account. It does not prove that a direct bank deposit or withdrawal is available. Local methods depend on the country and the account's wallet eligibility.

  • The named crypto assets are BTC, ETH, LTC, DOGE, BCH, TRX, EOS, USDT, BNB, CRO, USDC, APE, DAI, LINK, SAND, SHIB, UNI, MATIC, SOL, XRP and TRUMP.
  • The wallet supports direct crypto deposits, withdrawals and crypto swaps.
  • External purchase and exchange services can apply their own country rules, identity checks, spreads and fees.

Withdrawal limits, fees and timing

You must wager both fiat and crypto deposits once before withdrawing them. This 1x turnover sits outside any bonus rollover. Stake can also require withdrawal through the original deposit method, divide a withdrawal between methods, combine pending requests, charge a fee or carry out enhanced due diligence.

On the signed-in USDT withdrawal route over Ethereum, the wallet showed a 2.50 USDT minimum and a 1 USDT transaction fee. It did not show a route maximum or a guaranteed processing time. The matching deposit screen said funds would be credited after two confirmations and showed no deposit minimum, maximum or Stake deposit fee. These figures apply only to that route and may change.

  • Blockchain, exchange, payment processor and bank charges may apply on top of any Stake fee.
  • There is no single published minimum, maximum, confirmation count, fee or processing promise for every asset and network.
  • The withdrawal form asks for the currency, network, amount and destination address, plus a two-factor code when 2FA is active.

Casino catalogue and count limits

Stake does not publish an auditable total for all games or all slots. The slots page loads more cards as you move through it, so the first visible batch is not a reliable catalogue count.

The expanded directory displayed 500 publisher or studio routes. Do not read that as a count of separate suppliers. It includes Stake-owned entries, small creators, aliases and technical labels. The category totals overlap too: the 49 game-show entries are part of the wider live product and cannot be added to the 118 live entries.

  • The casino covers slots, Originals, live casino, game shows, burst games, poker, blackjack, baccarat, roulette, enhanced-RTP games and bonus-buy games.
  • Most supported games have demo play, but demo funds and winnings have no cash value.
  • A provider route in the directory does not mean every title from that provider is available in every country.

Originals, live casino and fairness

The in-house catalogue displayed 31 games, including Dice, Mines, Plinko, Crash, blackjack, baccarat, roulette and video poker. The published pages for Dice, Mines, Plinko and Crash state a 1% house edge and 99% theoretical RTP. There is no single table with the economics of all 31 titles, and those descriptions did not publish currency-specific minimum or maximum stakes.

Stake explains a provably fair method for Originals built around a server seed, client seed, nonce and cursor with HMAC-SHA256. Once the server seed is revealed, a completed result can be reproduced. No completed round was replayed in the checked material. The method does not predict future results, remove the house edge or verify games from outside providers.

The live directory displayed 118 entries: 73 under Evolution, 37 under Pragmatic Play, three under Animo Studios and five under provider label 155. Some are lobbies or language variants rather than separate tables.

  • The current category shows 31 cards, while an older article lists 27 titles. The live category count is the fresher catalogue signal.
  • Third-party slots and live games rely on provider systems and the operator's integration, not the Originals verifier.
  • A maximum multiplier shown for an Original is not the same as an account-level maximum cash prize.

Sportsbook, esports and racing

Stake has pre-match, in-play and outright betting across 56 direct sports and esports category routes. Horse racing, greyhound racing and harness racing have separate sections. Event counts change constantly, and streaming depends on rights and account eligibility.

Cashout is available only for selected singles and multis, not for Same Game Multis. There is a delay, and the offer can fail if the odds move or the market is suspended. A postponed or abandoned event is generally void if it is not completed within 48 hours, unless the rules for that sport say otherwise.

  • Bet types include singles, multis, Same Game Multis, Bet Builder markets, outrights and esports duels.
  • If one selection is void, the whole Same Game Multi is void. When several Same Game Multis are combined, only the affected leg is removed and the remaining odds are recalculated.
  • Boosts, refunds and free bets each have their own fixture, odds, market and expiry conditions.

Welcome terms, promotions and VIP

Stake does not have one permanent welcome deposit match for every new account. An eligible affiliate or referral code can be entered within 24 hours of registration, but the reward and its region, product and restrictions depend on that campaign.

When a deposit bonus comes with rollover, Stake measures progress against a 4% theoretical house edge. Sportsbook wagering contributes 0.75 per 1 wagered. A casino game with a 1% edge contributes 0.25 per 1. The policy also has a long exclusion list covering providers and individual titles. There is no published maximum bonus bet or maximum bonus cashout that applies to every offer. The campaign terms decide both.

VIP progress is based on qualifying wagering, not deposits. Bronze starts at 10,000 in casino-wager equivalents, and Obsidian is listed at 1 billion. Sportsbook wagering counts three times faster. Public reward values are personalised, and reaching a tier does not guarantee discretionary rewards from a host.

  • Stake uses the cash balance before the bonus balance. Bonus currency stays locked until the requirement is met, or until the whole balance in that currency has been used and no bets remain open.
  • Bronze adds weekly and monthly bonuses, rakeback and a level-up reward. Daily reloads start at Platinum levels, and a dedicated host may be assigned from Platinum IV.
  • Casino rakeback is described as 3.5% of the house-edge amount linked to a wager, not 3.5% of the full stake.
  • Multi-accounting and bonus abuse can result in withheld rewards or account closure.

Operator, licensing and account security

The global real-money service names Medium Rare N.V. as its operator and states Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/1451/0918. Two Cyprus subsidiaries are listed as payment processors, not as alternative casino operators. Independent confirmation in the regulator's register was not captured. The licence number should not be applied to a regional Stake product without checking that product's own legal terms.

The terms say Stake keeps deposits and winnings in separate customer bank accounts or crypto wallets for betting, settlement, fees and charges. That is a contractual statement. It is not proof of reserves, government deposit insurance, a bank guarantee or a full analysis of what would happen in an insolvency.

Security controls include two-factor authentication, passkeys, login monitoring and an internal Vault. The Vault is not a bank account or an insured custody product.

  • The user-facing clause applies Curaçao law and directs disputes to Curaçao courts.
  • Certification marks in the footer are separate from the gambling licence and are not additional licences.
  • A provably fair receipt can confirm a recorded result against committed inputs after play. It does not show that the house edge is zero or prove that the operator is solvent.

Support and problem resolution

Stake describes support as available around the clock through signed-in live chat and email. Its support guide names staffed service in English, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. That list is shorter than the 17-language interface, so a translated interface does not guarantee a support agent in the same language.

Formal complaints start with customer service. If the problem is not resolved, the terms direct players to remedies under Curaçao law. The checked terms did not name a separate independent alternative-dispute-resolution body.

  • Keep transaction hashes, account messages, dates and screenshots, but do not expose passwords, recovery codes or private keys.
  • Use the registered account channel when disputing a withdrawal, bonus or verification decision.
  • You need to be signed in to use live chat.

Responsible gambling controls

The published material describes daily, weekly and monthly loss and wager limits, plus a daily deposit limit. Lowering a limit takes effect at once. Raising one has a 24-hour cooling-off period. Crypto received above a deposit limit may be held and released gradually as the daily limit resets.

Break in Play can be set for one day, one week or one month. Indefinite self-exclusion lasts at least six months before Stake will consider a return. A chosen break or exclusion cannot be ended early. If you close an account voluntarily, Stake applies a minimum 24-hour cooling-off period before it will consider reopening it.

These controls were not reconfirmed on 2026-07-17 because the responsible-gambling page redirected. Their detailed availability on that date was not captured.

  • Loss limits use net loss and count unsettled bets.
  • Wager limits cap total stakes without deducting wins.
  • You can close an account through support. The responsible-gambling material also lists outside help organisations.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • The casino directory displayed 500 routes, alongside 31 in-house titles and 118 live entries. The page keeps the scope and category overlap clear.
  • Stake names twenty-one crypto assets and also supports local-currency options, subject to route and country eligibility.
  • Casino games, live products, poker, sportsbook, esports and racing are available through one account.
  • The documented account safeguards include two-factor authentication, passkeys and login monitoring.
  • Published loss and wager limits, breaks and self-exclusion rules provide several safer-gambling options, although their availability was not reconfirmed on 2026-07-17.

Cons

  • Every fiat and crypto deposit must be turned over 1x before withdrawal.
  • Stake can ask for KYC, source-of-funds checks and enhanced due diligence at registration or later, including before payment.
  • There is no platform-wide withdrawal maximum, fee or guaranteed processing time covering every asset and network.
  • The 500 directory entries are routes, not a deduplicated supplier count. The live and game-show categories also overlap.
  • There is no universal public value for welcome or VIP rewards. Many terms depend on the campaign or account.
  • The checked terms did not name an independent alternative-dispute-resolution body.

Final verdict

Stake combines a broad casino directory and sportsbook with direct crypto funding. Before using it, be ready for verification, careful blockchain network selection and the 1x turnover on every deposit before withdrawal. Its headline counts combine routes and overlapping categories that need to be read carefully. Before depositing, check the bonus value, payment cost and provider access for your exact account, country, asset and campaign.
